United Kingdom Fun Casino Association

In recent years, the popularity of fun casinos has really exploded.  The allure of the fun casino is mainly down to the fact that you have all the excitement and games of a real casino, but without the risk of losing any real money.

There was therefore a need for an association, who would be able to bring together, Fun Casino Companies from all over the UK.  Just like the National Association of Casino Party Operators (NACPO) in America, the UKFCA provides guidelines for the smooth running of fun casinos events.  Our members are among the finest fun casino operators in the UK, so you are assured of a great time from a great company.

Fun Casino Party Hints

Fun casino parties are a popular and successful way for companies or groups to entertain their guests.  It's all for fun, with no real money involved - so absolutely no risk.  Your guests wager with 'fun money', and have a chance to win prizes based on their winnings.

Event planners throughout America consistently vote casino parties the number 1 form of theme entertainment.  The UK is hot on their heels, and the level of expertise ascertained by the members of UKFCA is unparalleled, meaning that there is no better event to hold, than a fun casino.

So, how do you go about putting on a memorable casino party?

Many things come to mind, the most obvious being to immediately sit down and contact our member company nearest you!  Having done hundreds of casino parties in your area, they'll give you expert advice on absolutely everything you could possibly need to know - party ideas and themes that have worked and not worked, even unusual locations that may be perfect for your event.

NEXT, R E L A X!

1. Don't over think it!
You've invited people to gather, mingle and enjoy. They've come to have a good time, and their interaction at the gaming tables will provide the fun.

2. Don't work too hard!
Don't be so exhausted before your guests arrive that you can't enjoy your own party.

3. How about a theme?
It doesn't have to be fancy or elaborate. What time of year is it? Is there anything significant that happens around then?  March/April, October, November and December are all significant, with celebrations and holidays that people naturally tie in with parties. What about other times of the year?  We've heard so many unusual ones, such as an After Tax Party in April:  'Poor house hors d'oeurves', guests turn their pockets inside out and wear fleece (you know, fleeced by the government).  Games include "pin the five pound note on the tax man" (your last fiver)!  Or how about holding a wake for the end of summer in September:  use a stage prop coffin as your ice chest, have everyone dress in black, a few of your guests could do a personal eulogy about summer??  The possibilities are endless!

4. Consider your guest list.
Will they get into the spirit of a costumed event? If so, using a theme can almost guarantee success! Ideas include a ballroom party, or something like Gone With The Wind (just make sure you have room for all those hooped skirts!) with parasols, southern accents, handlebar mustaches, etc.  Or a space theme, like Star Trek or Star Wars, with astronauts and aliens, etc.  Or just something simple, like come as your favorite TV or film character?

To set the theme of your party, consider using props and decorations. Some of our member companies are designers and decorators as well, and they can help you create just the right 'feel' for your event.
